Calls were received and returned (Mary/Jason) in a timely manner. Initial assessment of customer concerns (old unit) to Mark was clearly answered. Options/Customer safety was explained to the customer during the assessment, and a follow-up email and call from Jason to answer any additional concerns/questions. Personal property was respected at the start/finish of the job. Persons assisting communicated with each other using their mobile devices with no loud distractions during installation. Jason's Service Was Excellent
Today, 6/17/24, Jason showed up with a helper to perform a recharge of the mini-split system that was a self-install 6 years ago. So far, two companies have told me the system will not function much longer and that self-installs are not expected to survive much longer than the 5-year warranty. Jason's service was excellent, and I expect to have him replace the unit with a new one in the fall. I will definitely use Guthrie in the future. The following was in 2023. As an engineer, I look for people that can explain how the system works, what has failed, and how it will be repaired. I feel confident that Jason and Will knew how the system works and how to fix it. Once they completed the repair of the mini-split, I set the temperature to 65 and came back into the area a short time after and wow, it was time to turn it to heat to warm it back up. The system heated the space back up quickly. One good thing about these guys, they aren't out to sell annual maintenance packages like the big guys!
